Allison J. Pratt Biography
Allison J. Pratt is a human resources professional with more than 30
years of
business experience. She formed the consulting firm of Pratt &
Associates providing "as needed" human resources consulting services to
companies across a wide range of industries, including public as well as family owned and privately held businesses..
While most of her clients are in the 100 – 500
employee range, her firm has worked with companies with as few as 4
employees
and as many as 8,000.
She holds a B.S. in business from California State University, Pomona
and an MBA
from the University of Phoenix. In 2001, she earned a Coaching
Certificate from
the Hudson Institute of Santa Barbara.
For her career accomplishments, she was honored as the National Human Resources Executive of the Year by the Orange County chapter of the National Human Resources Association.
In addition to her HR consulting practice; Allison is a Sr. HR Lecturer in the Masters in Human Resources program at Chapman University College and is also an adjunct professor at Saddleback, Fullerton and Irvine Valley Colleges.
She teaches courses in both the Business and Human Resources fields.
She has also developed
several Human Resources certificate programs which are presented at Rancho
Santiago, Santa Ana and Saddleback Community Colleges.
Allison also offers
legally
required Sexual Harassment Avoidance workshops through the colleges, and
directly to clients.
Allison also speaks to groups on various HR and employment related topics
such as
employee retention and avoiding litigation.
